Satanic binding

Caroline E. Kelly Davis

Bradley & Woodruff, 1868

This is an antique novel proclaiming the benefits of temperance. The frontispiece shows a drunkard (see photo) who hopefully will be redeemed by the end of the story!

The covers on this book are great–there are self-biting dragons as a motif along the upper portion of the front cover & spine, and a serpent-entwined wine goblet device at the bottom of the front cover (repeated on spine.)

A great gift for your favorite imbiber!

Condition is very good–clean, bright & sharp.

Book measures 7-1/4″ by 5-1/4″ wide and about an inch thick. Color is brick red.
